DJ Krazy-9, a professional DJ, was born and raised in the northern country of Estonia. From an early age, she engaged in various forms of art, including singing, drawing, and dancing. As a teenager, she prepared a setlist for a local EDM radio station and won several prizes for her outstanding music selection. After finishing school, Krazy had to pick between her two main passions: electronic music and architecture. She opted for the latter and entered university to become an architect, all the while pursuing her commitment for electronic music on her own. She built her track collection and attended various electronic music events around the globe. In her third year of university, she secured her first job on a team of architects involved in renovating the London 2012 Olympic venues. She moved to London, where her architectural career took precedence for the next decade. After establishing a successful career as an architect and setting up her own architectural firm in her home country, Krazy spent a month of her summer vacation in Ibiza. This experience prompted her to embrace her second passion in life and dedicate herself to the art of music.

Following the acquisition of professional equipment and her graduation from Tallinn DJ School, Krazy embarked on a mission to conquer the music scene at local venues in Tallinn. She has already graced big stages like the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds, as well as performed for more intimate audiences and open-air events throughout Estonia. Krazy's favourite music genre is tech house, known for its dynamic and vibrant nature. This genre stands out for its frequent instrument changes and short musical phrases, demanding lively mixing and quick thinking from the DJ to keep listeners engaged and energised.

Krazy enjoys using several channels simultaneously, merging several musical compositions into completely new pieces. Her background as an architect has proven valuable in her burgeoning music career, echoing Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s words: “Music is liquid architecture; architecture is frozen music”. Like an architect, she constructs the logic behind her sets, creating moods that take her listeners on journeys through the universe.

For Krazy, the philosophy behind the art of DJing is crucial, prompting her to share her thoughts on Instagram. In her opinion, every person is a DJ in their own way. DJing is about curating the most exciting pieces from different tracks into a single composition. When examining the elements that constitute a modern person's life, it becomes clear that success entails combining various aspects, finding pleasure and harmony in everything, and integrating them into an uninterrupted flow. Krazy advocates for the popularisation of club culture, seeing it as akin to humanity's early tribal stages, where one can rediscover the lost paradise of harmony, equality, and community. The ability to dance and socialise ranks alongside basic human needs like eating and sleeping.

Krazy's dream is to establish an open decks club in Ibiza, where talents from around the world can showcase their skills and foster a creative community of like-minded individuals. Becoming a resident of StarDust Radio, which shares her ideas, would bring her one step closer to this goal.
